Our most unique service is the recycling of packaging materials. Part of what we do is create a network of users that want to reuse these, in many cases, perfectly good items. If we find these end users, then the materials stay out of the landfill, they save money on packing supplies, and we save money on the costs associated with having them recycled. It's a win-win situation.
We've had the most success with companies that do a lot of shipping where they don't care as much about the appearance of the materials. Some of these companies include ones that ship some kind of internally used materials and equipment, scrap shippers, or large E-bay style businesses. If you spend a lot of money on packing materials, then you might want to consider what we offer.
Most of our materials go through a low-level sort where we pull out dirty or unusable pieces. Most of it is in close-to-new condition.
So, if you're interested, please send us an email, with details on what you can use. We need to know the types of materials, sizes, condition they need to be in, etc. The types of materials we currently recycle are listed here.
Before you contact us, please note our needs:
- Large quantities. We need to get rid of lots of material, and we're going to deliver it to you. There is NO PICKING UP OF MATERIALS. The minimum amount that we will deliver is @ 3 yards. We usually deliver it in bags.
- Types of materials. The companies that will take LPDE foam or EPS (Styrofoam) blocks move to the top of the list. We have quite a few sources already for bubblewrap and polyurethane foam. If you are willing to accept a variety of materials, that also helps. In general, the less picky you are, the higher the probability that we can find a solution for you.
- Repeat customers. If you can commit to receiving materials on a regular basis, we'll work harder to find them for you.

LPDE foam - comes in blocks and strips like you see here. Can be cut to fit very easily. Comes in many colors, but is usually white.
EPS (Styrofoam) blocks - comes in a huge variety of shapes and sizes. We have a hard time finding end users for this material, but it is easily recycled. Can be cut, but is messy. We collect a large amount of peanuts, but most of that is spoken for. However, if you'd like peanuts, let us know, and we'll see what we can do.
Polyurethane foam - this is known as "good foam," and we usually give it to accounts that are willing to accept other materials.
Bubblewrap - comes in a variety of sizes and colors. We do not sort.
Poly bags - come in all sizes, from @ 6" to @ 6'. We sort between small and large, and that's it. Must be willing to accept a variety of sizes. Mostly in new condition - mainly bags taken from new electronic and computer equipment purchases from large companies.
Wood crates and pallets. Large pallets and crates might be just what you need to ship your large piece of equipment.
